Water-polo

When I was a kiddo, I used to play waterpolo, in IYIK (Istanbul Yuzme Ihtisas Klubu) .

These were good times: no worry, just play 110%, always hit for the team, live for your friends, they'll live for you and so on...

Then I left sports in favor of studies... I studied chemical engineering in Bogazici University. After 4 years, I realized that that was not enough (... well, never is), so I went on MS studies, still in Bogazici University but the topic was Biochemical Engineering. Still had not enough of studying, I came to Netherlands, to go further on Metabolic Engineering etc...but you may find the details is here.

Anyway, here I started back water-polo in the university team, Wave . It was a good team, with lots of fun, a bit of sports.. life was good enough again... We won the championship in my first year and promoted.. we'll see what will happen next year.

Photography

Out of pleasure, I take, shoot, grab, pictures; in short I am interested in photography. Here you may find some pictures that I took.

It was always a nice thing to have the feeling of reflecting a life that someone else did not live, with a perspective different that he would have, in a specific case through photographs (Hence the name photo-graph, something like "painting with light") That is why I like taking pictures.
